Terms of Service
Last updated 12 September 2026
These terms cover your use of SlabCAD, provided by Monolit Group(“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you may bind that business.
The account
One account belongs to one person. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. The same login works across SlabCAD, Slabkast and SlabQuote; each is a separate subscription, or all three together in the Monolit Bundle.
The trial
A new account gets seven days of the full program at no cost, with no card taken. When the trial ends SlabCAD stops opening until the shop subscribes. Your drawings are kept.
The subscription
SlabCAD is $49USD per month per shop — or the equivalent in NZD, AUD or EUR, set by the country on the account. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are, except in New Zealand, where GST is included. We may change prices, and will give existing subscribers at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects them.
Billing and cancellation
SlabCAD is billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time and the subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund part months. There is no minimum term and no contract to exit.
Your work is yours
You own the drawings and business information you put into SlabCAD. You give us only the permission needed to store it, display it back to you and produce your files and printed sheets. We do not use it for any other purpose. You can export it or ask us to delete it at any time.
Our software is ours
SlabCAD, its interface and its underlying software remain ours. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source of the product.
Acceptable use
Do not use SlabCAD to break the law, to store anyone else’s data without the right to, or to attack or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep SlabCAD available and we take backups, but we do not promise it will never be down. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can.
Check your dimensions
SlabCAD calculates lengths, angles, layouts and cutting information from what you draw and import. The results are only as good as those inputs, and the files you send to a machine or a customer are yours. Check dimensions before you cut — we are not liable for stone cut from a drawing that turns out to be wrong.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Where you use SlabCAD as a business in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right where it is reasonable to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
